BAKERIKA
Background
Working together from 2021 to this day, lots of materials have been produced for the Helsinki cafe & catering business. Founded by one woman, Erika Poussa, it has evolved into a successful and growing business in its personnel, clientele and brand recognition. The brand started out as a café and has grown into a nationally known phenomenon: the sensation known by all in Punavuori spread its sweet message across the Finnish nation when winning the Menestysresepti- competition in 2024 with its frozen cookie dough, sold (and sold out) throughout Finland with huge success. Today Bakerika operates as a café, caterer and product brand.

CHALLENGE
Growing up
As the once small business has grown tremendously in the past few years, a unified visual identity has been needed that would tie together café products, retail packaging, and a new product category. The goal was to create a graphic world that looks as delicious as Bakerika's products taste – and communicates the brand's cheerful, approachable personality.

OUTCOME
Sweet like the Finnish summer sky
We created a visual identity for Bakerika that is cool but warm, fun and recognizable.
The graphic language combines light sky blue, delicious pastel shades and friendly typography. The look works versatile in different environments – packaging, café products and digital communication – always maintaining the same delicious energy.
MY ROLES
